WAYNE - Edward R. LaBossiere, 89, died Dec. 25, 2009.
LaBossiere spent his career at IT&T. He and his wife, Ann, raised their three sons in Wayne, where LaBossiere continued to live until the time of his death.
He was born in Ware, Mass., and moved to the Packanack Lake Section of Wayne in 1953. LaBossiere graduated from Ware High School in Ware, Mass., in 1938, and went on to attend New York University and the RCA Institute, in New York City.
LaBossiere was a dedicated parishioner and served as an usher at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, having also been a member and trustee of the Knights of Columbus, Council 10206. His leisure interests kept up with the times from hours spent as a HAM radio operator, to keeping in touch via e-mail with other computer savvy family and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Ann (nee Hoar) LaBossiere.
Father of Richard LaBossiere of Green Pond, Paul LaBossiere of Rye, N.Y. and Philip LaBossiere of Saddle River. Grandfather of Robb, Elizabeth and John LaBossiere. Great-grandfather of Madeline Claire and Michael Robb LaBossiere.
