Deceased Name: Milton S. Hescock, Greenfield builder
Milton S. Hescock, 85, of 30 Graves Road, the co-owner of Coleman-Hescock Home Builders, died Tuesday at Franklin Medical Center.
He co-owned and operated the construction firm for 10 years. He had worked for many years for contractors in the Greenfield area.
Born in South Newfane, Vt., he was a graduate of Greenfield High School.
He leaves his wife of 64 years, the former Esther C. Murley; two sons, Neil M. of Greenfield and Ronald E. of Gill; a daughter, Shirley E. Berry of Easthampton; a brother, Erwin of Greenfield, a sister, Icaphine Hoar of Greenfield; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Thursday afternoon at Kostanski Funeral Home, with burial at Green River Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.

Deceased Name: Margaret L. Hoar
Margaret L. (Blanchard) Hoar, 93, of 18 1/2 Malone St., a 30-year secretary for Westfield Manufacturing Co., died Monday in a local nursing home. She retired in 1950. Born and schooled here, she was a graduate of the former Bay Path Secretarial School, and a lifelong resident. She worshipped at St. Mary's Church, and was in its Rosary Confraternity. She was a Red Cross volunteer during World War II. Her husband, John T. Hoar, predeceased her. She leaves a brother, Charles H., and sister, Frances Dupuis, of Westfield, and nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Thursday morning at Firtion-Adams Funeral Home and the church, with burial in the parish cemetery. Calling hours will be this evening, and memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church, 28 Bartlett St., Westfield, 01085.

Anna R. (Hoar) Hannafin, 85, of Holyoke, a retired clerk for the Parks and Recreation Department, died Wednesday at the Loomis House.
She worked previously at the former Livingston Mills, and retired in 1973.
Born here, she was graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1925.
She was a communicant and volunteer at Blessed Sacrament Church.
Her husband, Christopher Hannafin, died in 1972.
She leaves a sister, Helen F. Hoar of Holyoke.
The funeral will be on Friday at Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home and the church, with burial in the Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours are this afternoon and evening.

MARY M. HOAR, 86 LOVING MOTHER ROCKFORD - Mary M. Hoar, 86, of Rockford died peacefully at 9:12 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, 2009. Born Dec. 9, 1922, in Dodgeville, Wis., the daughter of George and Christina Kruel Martin. Married Robert P. Hoar on July 26, 1948, in Loves Park. Mary was a loving mother who was completely devoted to her family. Survivors include her sons, Steven P. and William R. (Roberta L.) Hoar, both of Rockford; sister-in-law, Virginia Hoar; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Robert on July 14, 1968; three brothers; and five sisters. Her family would like to thank the staffs at Loyalton of Rockford, River Bluff Nursing Home and Bernie Marinelli for the loving care and support that was given to Mary. Service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, in Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time; the Rev. Matthew T. Rudden will officiate. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Loyalton of Rockford, 1545 Temple Lane, Rockford, IL 61112; or River Bluff Nursing Home, 4401 N. Viewing for Richard E. Horr, 63, will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d'Alene. Graveside service will be Saturday at Coeur d'Alene Memorial Gardens at 2 p.m.
Mr. Horr, who was born in Sandpoint, died Sept. 3.
He grew up in Post Falls and worked as a construction contractor in Meridian, Idaho, before retiring and recently moving to Rockvale.
Survivors include his wife, Aleta; a son, Richard Horr Jr. of Carnation, Wash.; three daughters, Cheryl Lensegrav of Enumclaw, Wash., Roxanne Horr of Seattle and Jennifer Horr of Star, Idaho; a stepson, Robert Lucero of Idaho; two stepdaughters, Linda and Laurie Newman, both of Idaho; a brother, Robert Herr of Colorado; two sisters, Betty Thomas of Texas and Margie Bosanko of Orting, Wash.; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
