K08 John Hoare c1630 Wallingsford, Berks, England

John Hoare, b.1630abt in Wallingsford, Berks, England

Grandson Robert emigrated to Pennsylvania sometime before his death in 1743.

The group is created after finding the reference to the published book; albeit only on the recent history of a descendant, and upon seeing that Roz had the family detailed in her database back to 1600's. The location seemed a little more unique, albeit there is an overlap with the Hoare's Bank group as reported by Sir Richard Colt Hoare. Will reach out to the family and see if we can get them to join the project.

From a single tester using 23andMe, we have them down the R1b -> L21 -> DF13 -> CTS2501 branching. AncestryDNA with the same person tested to R1b -> L21. a single y37 test, when processed with Nevgen, gives us DF13 -> DF41 -> BY39058. Awaiting another tester to confirm this haplogroup and path in the FTDNA Public Tree and yFull Tree.
