B24 Shadrach Hoar / Hanson

AncestorsType
Shadrach Hoar
b1743. Bristol County, Massechusetts, USA
m. Anna Haskins,
d. 1808 New Salem, MA
Defining
Shadrach is the great-grandson of Hezeikiah Hoar through Hezekiah's son Nathaniel.

Two of Shadrach and Anna's sons had their surname and children's surname changed in the court to Hanson in June 1818. So this is a page to allow for a study group of Hanson descendants to deep autosomal test and hopefully also match into the yDNA testers of this family group. Two (or three) of the other sons did not change the name (Elihu, John and Shadrach).

A single y12 STR test of one of these Hanson descendants shows a strong concordance / match into the Hezekiah Hoar descendant line.

We do not condone nor endorse any of these sites. They are in no particular order. Most are highly inaccurate about the individual, the family and the lineage before and after. But, as we strive to make available all information that can be discovered without levying judgment, we provide the links for convenience here. (note: we have even seen a site A reference site B, which B then references site C, where C references back to site A. A circular source reference that is self-fulfilling.)
