Family and friends called him Rippy. He died of a self inflicted gun shot woound to the head (2 months after his 2nd marriage) and died at the hospital. Notice appeared in The Washington Post Newspaper March 14, 1935 Section State News Page 28. Report of Marriage from MSA book 44 folder 0600 shows Samuel Ralph Orr married Dorice Lee Ridgeway on Jan 7, 1935 in Montgomery County, Rockville, MD At the time Samuel was age 27 and a Chauffeur, Dorice was age 20 no occupation listed. I think she was really only 16. The ceremony was performed by Bertram M. Osgood. Samuel Ralph enlisted in the Navy Nov 13, 1924. He was discharged April 26, 1927
