      Bronson; Jeanette E. HOARD, 87, of Bronson, a 20 year employee at the former Bronson Reel Company, died June 18, 1997, at Vencor Hospital, LaGrange, Ind., following a short illness.
      She was born Nov. 14, 1909, in Bronson, a daughter of Bert and Grace (RICHARDSON) DAVIS, and was a lifelong Bronson area resident.
      On May 26, 1928, she married Weldon HOARD in Angola, Ind. He died June 15, 1977.
      She was employed by the former Douglas Manufacturing Co. (now Autotech) for nine years, retiring in 1975.
      She enjoyed knitting, canning, spending time with her grandchildren and caring for her home.
      Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Leo and Joyce HOARD, Leon and Euretta HOARD and Leonard and Sharon HOARD all of Bronson; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; one brother Lloyd DAVIS of Sturgis. She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Cleo in 1963; and four brothers.
      Relatives and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Kolcz Funeral Home, where services are at 1 p.m. Friday with the Rev. John T. McClimans officiating. Burial will be in the Matteson Township Cemetery.
      Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
