Horr 4 Obituary: Portalnd Press Herald, Published July 9, 1930: Capt Orison Dana Horr died at Portlands City Hospital, Monday July/7 of Arterio-sclerosis Myocarditis at the age of 82. Capt. Orison Horr was born on Cliff Island, Me on Dec 25, 1848 on of eight children born to Joseph Emery Horr and Charity Lucinda Doughty of Long Island Me. On April 1902 he married Hellen Mariah (Nellie Mae) Chadwick of Rockland. Mr. Horr was a Sea Captian of large fishing vessels most of his life. Later he became a lobster fisherman. He was known to all who knew him as a kind and gentle man with great witt and sense of humor. His funeral was held Thursday July10 at the chapel of James A Martin Sons of Myrtle St Portland Me.
