Mrs. Julia Bacon Horr died in Duluth, Minnesota, October 20, 1914.
Mrs. Julia Bacon Horr was born October 22, 1862. She [graduated from OHS and] entered Oberlin College in 1879 and was graduated with the class of 1883. After graduation she taught in the public schools of Wellington, Ohio, and July 8, 1886, married Walter S. Horr of that city. They made their home at first in Wadena, Minnesota, but in 1890 changed their residence to Duluth. Mrs. Horr was associated with every effort that looked toward the betterment of living.The Oberlin Alumni Magazine, December 1914, p. 120.
