ATHOL -- Valerie C. Tourigny, 10 months old, of 302 Rice St., died Sunday, Dec. 10, in Children's Hospital, Boston, after an illness.
She leaves her parents, Peter L. Tourigny and Angela Cerez of Athol; a brother, David A. Slater of Athol; a sister, Madison T. Cerez of Athol; her paternal grandmother, Agnes R. (LeBlanc) Tourigny of Athol; and her maternal grandparents, Edward Cerez of Rhode Island and Beatrice (Horr) Cerez of Belchertown. She was born in Gardner.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, in South Athol United Methodist Church, 60 Morgan Ave. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner. A calling hour is 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Hospital, Cardiovascular Unit, 300 Longwood Ave., Boston, MA 02115. Boucher Funeral Home, 110 Nichols St., Gardner, is directing arrangements.
