Vivianne L. (Gendreau) Hoar, 74, of Fall River passed away on Monday April 30, 2012 at Saint Anne's Hospital in Fall River. She was the wife of the late Gerald P. Hoar.
Vivianne was born in Fall River the daughter of the late Arthur M. and Irene (Ringuette) Gendreau. She was a graduate of Dominican Academy class of 1954. Mrs. Hoar worked at the Aetna Life & Casualty Insurance Company for twenty years as an insurance rater, retiring in 1992. Vivianne cherished the time she shared with her family and friends especially her grandchildren. She was an avid Red Sox fan and liked to cross stitch.
Survivors are two daughters: Cheryl A. Narcizo and her husband John Jr. of Dartmouth, MA; Jennifer L. Kaliff and her husband Timothy of Fall River, MA; a son: Police Sgt. Michael K. Hoar and his wife Suk Kyong of Fall River, MA; six loving grandchildren: James, Nicholas and Michael Hoar, Emily and Benjamin Kaliff and Jesse Narcizo; a sister: Annette Gendreau of Westport, MA; along with several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Madeline Carroll and Raymond Gendreau.

Annette L. "Raeanne" Gendreau, age 78, of Westport, formerly of Fall River where she lived most of her life, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Catholic Memorial Nursing Home. Annette was born in Fall River, a daughter of the late L. Arthur M. and Irene (Ringuette) Gendreau. Annette received a BS in Science and became a teacher for Catholic Schools from 1959-1973 and then for the Dartmouth Public School System from 1973-1997. She was a member of Retired Educators Association of Mass, MA Teachers Association, National Educators Association, MA State Retirees and Dominican Academy Alumnae. She enjoyed golf, friends and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Annette is survived by her niece and caregiver, Jennifer Kaliff of Fall River as well as several other nieces and nephews; her sister-in-law, Marilyn Gendreau; she was the sister of the late Vivianne Hoar, Madeleine Carroll and Raymond A. Gendreau. Annette's Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 10:00AM in St. Joseph's Church, 1355 North Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow.
