Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Gifford F. and Lucille (O'Dowd) Horr, she had been a resident of Warwick for most of her life. She was the mother of the late Raymond I. St. Martin, Jr. and Janice B. Daigneault; grandmother of Richard M. Daigneault, Jr., Joseph J. Daigneault, Kristine DeWett, Stephen St. Martin, Beth Mohat, Raymond St. Martin, Debra Perry and the late David St. Martin; sister of Olive Bentley, Rita Frigon, and the late William F. Horr, Norma McGarry, Gladys Fanning, Ronald G. Horr and Patricia Hicks.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 9 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Timothy Church, Warwick Ave. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park. Visiting hours Sunday 2-5 pm.

Obituary:
Winifred Norma (Horr) McGarry, 82, passed away November 8, 2012 at Kent Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward F. McGarry.
A daughter of the late Gifford and Lucy (O'Dowd) Horr. Mrs. McGarry was associated with her husband in the family business McGarry's Restaurant in downtown Providence and also was employed for Apex.
She is survived by three children, Edward F. McGarry, Sharon Lee Sinnott and Stephen J. McGarry; three sisters, Lucille St. Martin, Olive Bentley and Rita Frigon; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late William and Ronald Horr, Gladys Fanning and Patricia Hicks.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, November 13, at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Monday 4-7 p.m.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Gifford and Lucile (O'Dowd) Horr, she had lived in Providence before moving to Warwick 42 years ago. Mrs. Fanning had been a member of the board of the Rhode Island Chapter of Neurofibromatosis. She also had been a volunteer at the Cranston Center, working with adults with special needs. A communicant of St. Rita Church, she had served on its parish council. She leaves two sons, Edward R. Fanning Jr. of Burrillville and David M. Fanning of Smithfield; two daughters, Deborah A. Thornlimb of Cranston and Diane M. Sisson of Coventry; a brother, Ronald Horr of Warwick; four sisters, Olive Bentley of Cranston and Lucille St. Martin, Betty Frigon and Norma McGarry, all of Warwick; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandson. She was a sister of the late William Horr and Patricia Hicks. The funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Rita Church, Oakland Beach Avenue. HORR, RONALD, 75, of
Sunnyside Dr, died Friday, June 25, 2010 at Kent Hospital.

He was a son of the late Gifford and Lucy V. (O'Dowd) Horr. Brother of Lucille St. Martin, Olive Bentley, Rita Frigon, Winifred McGarry, and the late William Horr, Gladys Fanning and Patricia Hicks. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 AM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Monday 4-7 PM.
