      Obituary:
      Marion J. Beatty Marion J. Beatty, 101, of Royal Court, Riverview and formerly of People's Park Tower, Moncton, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, July 9, 2008. Born in Hopewell Cape, she was the daughter of the late Capt. Haliburton and Annie (Wilbur) Hoar. Marion was a beautiful person, through and through, a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. She was always interested in helping her family and was a wealth of information when it came to answering any questions, always up on current events and politics. She had a marvelous memory, liked quiz programs and crossword puzzles. A former school teacher, she was a member of Highfield Baptist Church, former choir member, attended church groups including "The Young at Heart", had many church friends and was a former member of the Moncton Liberal Women's Association. Marion will be sadly missed by her daughter, Shirley Allen, Riverview; grandchildren, Carolyn VanKampen (Bill), Cheryl Lounder, Eric Lounder (Amber); great grandchildren, Anne Marie, Ellen, Jane, Gregory, Chandler, Dana, Claire, Dean; nephews, Gerald Barnett (Doreen), Bryan Erb (Dona); niece, Doris Williams; daughter-in-law, Betty Beatty-Powers (Ross). She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, predeceased by her husband, George A. Beatty (1983); son, Ronald (1993); sisters, Beryl Barnett, Hazel Erb; brothers, Charles, Blair, Arlie. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, (858-1995), Friday, 2 to 4, 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service, Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday, July 12, 2008, 11:00 am, Rev. Jonathan Steeper officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Grey's Island Cemetery, Hillsborough. In Marion's memory donations to Highfield Baptist Church Memorial Fund or memorial of choice would be appreciated by the family.
