      Page 74: "133. ELIZABETH4 Palmer, daughter of Jonathan3 (jyehemiah? Waller1) and Mercy (Mannering) Palmer, was born November 28, 1724. She married Matthew Horr, and they were living in Lyme, Conn., when they, with her brothers and sisters, acknowledged the receipt of their share of their (or her) father's estate".
      Page 45: "37. JONATHAN3 Palmer, son of Nehemiah9( Walter1) and Hannah (Stanton) Palmer, was born in Stonington, August 7,1668. February 17,1715-6, Benjamin Palmer gave " to my cousin, Jonathan Palmer, junior, six acres of land lying in the Neck, by the land of his uncle Jonathan Palmer, he to possess it when he arrives at the age of twenty one years."? (Land Records, vol. 3, page 144.)
      September 4, 1716, IsTehemiah Palmer gave his son, Jonathan Palmer, " my twelve acre lot and the fifty acre grant of land on the east side of the Pawcatuck river which contains land not yet laid out."?(Ibid, vol. 3, page 164.)
      March 24, 1717-8, Daniel, Nehemiah, Ichabod and his wife Hannah Palmer, all heirs to Nehemiah Palmer, deceased, made out a quit-claim deed of all their rights in their father's estate, to their brother, Jonathan Palmer.?(Ibid, vol. 3, page 245.)
      November 11, 1748, "William Herrick with his wife Marcy of Preston, Conn., Jonathan and Love Shepherd of Killingly, Conn., Henry and Irene Rowling (Rowland), Matthew and Elizabeth Dorr of Lyme, Conn., together with Hannah Palmer, "spinster," of Stonington, gave a quit-claim to their brother, Jonathan Palmer, of all their rights to the land lying on the east side of the Pawcatuck river, which were a part of the estate of " our parents, Jonathan and Marcy Palmer, both deceased."? (Ibid, vol. 7, page 222.)
      Jonathan Palmer's will was drawn June 24, 1726. In it he states that he was very ill; gave his wife, Mercy, one-third of his housings and his personal estate; Judith, Mercy, Sarah, Ana, Jerusha, Love, Prudence and Elizabeth, his daughters, were each to receive fifty pounds, all under eighteen years of age; his son, Jonathan, was to receive one half of the lands when he came of age; his son, Oliver, to have the other half when of age. The will was entered October 21, 1726. Jonathan Palmer married in Stonington, December 1,1706, Mercy (written Marcy) Manwaring, daughter of Oliver and Hannah (Raymond) Manwaring; he died in Stonington, August 26, 1726.

      14496. Matthew Dorr. Born on 14 Jun 1724 in Lyme, CT. Matthew died in Athens, OH, on 18 Sep 1801; he was 77.
      On 4 Nov 1747 when Matthew was 23, he first married Elizabeth Palmer, daughter of Jonathan Palmer (7 Aug 1668-26 Aug 1726) & Mercy Manwaring (ca 1682-ca 1739), in Lyme, CT. Born on 28 Nov 1724 in Stonington, CT. At the age of <1, Elizabeth was baptized on 28 Mar 1725. Elizabeth died ca 1775 in East Haddam, CT.
