  [[ Obituary: 1930 - 2008 Jennie Hoard's family is sad to announce the passing of their loving and devoted mother on Thursday, February 21, 2008. She gracefully accepted her place with God, surrounded by her family and friends in the comfort of her home. Jennie was born and raised in Thunder Bay and worked at the A&P for over 32 years. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, playing bingo and dinners out with her family. Jennie especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Jennie is survived by sons Patrick of B.C., Alan (Judy) of Alberta and Ernie (Karen); daughter Tracey (Paul) Legros; grandchildren Trish, Jason, Christopher (Dawnette), Brandy, Katelin and Tyra; great grandchildren Jennifer, Nash, Dawson and Trinitea. Jennie was a very caring person who touched many lives. Funeral Services for the late Mrs. Jennie Hoard will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James, with Rev. Peter Smyth of St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in St. Andrew's R. C. Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening (tonight) after 6:00 p.m. in the chapel.
