      Obituary:
Maxwell Charles Wells, 88, of Hopewell Hill passed away peacefully on Monday, November 29th, 2010 at the Moncton Hospital with his family by his side. Max was born in Riverside on January 7th, 1922 the son of the late Charles and Flossie (Perry) Wells. Max was self employed as a painter for many years, he was known all over for his painting abilities. He later worked at Fundy National Park, as a painter, for 29 years until his retirement. In his earlier years, Max, was very involved in his community. He enjoyed curling at the Fundy Curling Club, was a member of the Lions Club and also was a member of the Albert Masonic Lodge #34. During the summer months he enjoyed watching the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team and in the winter he watched curling. The thing that Max enjoyed doing the best was driving his car, taking country drives right up until about a month ago. Max was known for his kindness and for his great sense of humour, he was a truly special man. He loved his family very much and was a devoted husband, dad and grampy. His family were definitely his pride and joy, he always wanted to make sure they were safe and cared for, he would do anything for them. He would want them to remember the good times and treasure the memories. "What we keep in memory is ours forever." He will be deeply missed by his wife of 61 years, Doris (Woodworth) Wells ; his children, Ralph Wells (Sharon), Gerald Wells (Marilyn) and Janet Hoar (Sheldon) all of Hopewell Hill; cherished grandchildren, Veronica (Paul), Melissa, Leslie, John, Dennis (Jennifer) and Daniel and great grandchildren, Danielle, Nadia, Christopher and Mariah; sister, Helen West of Moncton. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother, Arnold and by sisters, Thelma and Cleo.
He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday, December 1st from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
