      Deceased Name: Rita Williams-Menard
      Rita A. Williams-Menard, 83, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born May 26, 1927, in Chafee, Mo., died on Monday, May 31, 2010, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
      Rita retired from Edison Brothers Distribution Center, St. Louis, Mo., where she worked for more than 20 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Fairview Heights, Ill., and the Women of the Moose Chapter 53 in Swansea, Ill.
      She was preceded in death by her first husband, William K. Williams; and her parents, Ben and Virgie, nee Lee, McCormick.
      Surviving are her husband, Billy R. Menard whom she was married to for 13 years; her children, W. Kem (Debbie) Williams of Shiloh, Ill., and Sherri L. (John) Hoar of Plano, Texas; her grandchildren, Jill A. (Eric) Riess of Belleville, Ill., Amanda M. Williams of St. Charles, Mo., Melissa (Derek) McNamara of Richmond Va., and Chad (Amy) Hoar of Plano, Texas; her great-grandchildren, Riley, Nicholas, Kenzie, Hannah and Jessica; and her brothers and sisters, Harold (Thelma Jean) McCormick, Ronald (Jo) McCormick, Gerald McCormick, Donna McCormick, Cecil (Janie) McCormick and Patricia McCormick.
      Mom was a loving Christian woman who loved her God and her family. We will miss you.

      Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2010, at Kassly Mortuary Chapel, Fairview Heights, Ill., with the Rev. Charlie Westbrook officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
