Death Notice: Published Date: 1945-12-29 Newspaper: Springfield Republican "Mrs. Mary (Hoar) McCarthy, 30, was found dead in her room at the Crown hotel on Lyman street about 7 last night. The body was found by the hotel clerk. Medical examiner W. A. R. Chapin said death was due to a heart attack. Mrs. McCarthy is survived by her husband, who is overseas, and two young daughters, Maureen and Catherine."
