  [[ Obituary: Rockford Register Star (IL) - July 25, 2006 Deceased Name: Isabella Hoar (Rockford) ISABELLA HOAR ROCKFORD - Is-abella Hoar passed away June 17, 2006, in Higley, Ariz. She was born Aug. 15, 1911, to Harry and Charlotte Atkinson. Married to James Hoar for 51 years. Isabella moved to Rockford when he passed away to be closer to her sister, Clara Shortino, who died in 1992. She then moved in with her niece, Cristy (Dan) Jones of Phoenix, Ariz. She would come to Rockford for short visits and stay with her niece, Carla (Steve) Bennett. Isabella had many nieces and nephews who loved her a lot, along with grandchildren. Predeceased by her son, James (Edie) Hoar Jr.; two brothers and two sisters. Graveside memorial service at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 27, in Scandinavian Cemetery, 1700 Rural.
