      Obituary:
      Age 83, a son of the late William and Clara Sporman Hall.
      Mr. Hall served with the U.S. Navy during World War II, Pacific Theater. He was a graduate of Columbia University with honors. He was employed as an engineering manager with the former Kaiser Aluminum, for twenty years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
      He was preceded in death by a brother, Russell and two sisters, Virginia and Dorothy.
      Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Jean M. Ryan Hall of Erie; five children, William Hall, wife Teresa of Marina Del Ray, Calif.; JoAnn Conroy, husband Mark of Kennett Square, Pa.; Thomas Hall, wife Diane of Erie; Nancy MacDonald, husband Gary of Medfield, Mass and Patricia Pizzat, husband, Michael of Savannah, Ga. Nine grandchildren; one sister Florence Rathjens of Ledgewood, New Jersey.
      Burial in Mary Queen of Peace Cemetery.
