      Rebecca J. (Becky) Hoar, 54, a resident of Pleasant Prairie, died Friday May 4, 2007, at the Midwestern Regional Cancer Treatment Center in Zion, Ill. Becky was born on December 14, 1952, in St. Paul, Minn., to the late Leonard and Katherine (Berg) Nelson. She came to Kenosha as a young girl and was educated in the schools of Kenosha. She graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. On June 2, 1972, in Kenosha, she married Robert I. Hoar, Jr. She was an Avon Representative for over 30 years, and was a member of their prestigious Avon presidents Club. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, landscaping, travel and NASCAR. She especially enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Bob; three children, Rob, Michelle, and Sharon, all of Pleasant Prairie; three grandchildren, Kierstin, Jordan and Tristan; five brothers, Lennie (Susan) Nelson of Pleasant Prairie, Gary (Valerie) Nelson of Kenosha, Mike (Vicki) Nelson of Sturtevant, Nick of Kenosha, Paul (Janet) Nelson of West Blacton, Ala.; four sisters, Marie (Bob) Kowalski of Angel fire, N.M., Cheri (Jerry) Bakula of Pleasant Prairie, Sue Nelson of Bristol and Penne (David) Lendman of Kenosha; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews whom all will miss her. A Memorial Service for Becky will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at 6 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Kenosha (1803 - 83rd Street). Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Fire Place Room of the First Presbyterian Church.
