ROSE ANN HORR Rose Ann Horr, born January 17, 1945 in Springfield, Ill., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 14, 2012 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Rose was very active in the community since moving to Barstow in 1989. She volunteered as a transport driver for DAV and also at the Senior Citizen's center for several years. She worked as an elections officer for the county and at Hailey House for a few years. She was also an In Home Care provider and a CNA. She was active in the Rebekah Lodge for many years taking her on travels up and down the state of California. She loved to drive and was always on the go somewhere. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip I. Horr; and her sister, Brenda Dralle. She is survived by her mother, Rosalind Booker of Springfield, Ill., sister, Shirley Moore of Pell City, AL.; son, Michael J. Domanowski of Ukiah, CA.; a daughter, Kathleen (Katie) G. Hutsell of Visalia, CA.; 2 grandsons, several nieces and nephews, and 2 great-nieces., as well as many friends who will miss her dearly. Rose had many hobbies including reading, traveling, crocheting, mostly baby blankets when she knew a new baby was on the way, knitting, going to the movies and participating in organizations she belonged to as well as volunteering at church bagging food on Tuesdays and passing it out on Wednesday evenings. Services for Rose will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Mission Field Ministries, 316 North 2nd Street, Barstow, CA 92311. Services under the direction of Pastor Sue Malone.
