      Marian J. (Hoar) Murray passed away on Christmas day, December 25, 2005 at the age of 88. Marian was a resident of Wollaston, Quincy for 55 years.
      Born in Boston; she was the daughter of Albert B. and Maryjane (MacLeod) Hoar. She graduated from Dorchester High School and worked for John Hancock for 25 years.
      Marian was the loving wife of the late Robert V. Murray; loving mother of Robert V. Murray Jr. of Hingham, Paula Johnston of Abington, Maryjane Murray of Rockland, John V. Murray and Stephen M. Murray, both of South Dakota. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
      The Funeral service will be held at the Quealy and Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street (just off Route 58 near North School), Abington on Friday, December 30 at 10 a.m. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
      Visitation Thursday 3 to 8 p.m.
