      MICHAEL QUINTAVALLO, 73, of River Avenue, a car salesman for Harrison Motors for 13 years, retiring 11 years ago, died Tuesday at the V.A. Medical Center, Providence.
      He was a son of the late Antonio and Rosa (Tagliaferro) Quintavallo. He had lived in Providence all his life.
      Mr. Quintavallo was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II and a communicant of St. Pius Church.
      He leaves two sisters, Antonetta "Etta" Quintavallo of Providence and Lucille Melebeck of Abbeville, La. He was the brother of the late Domenic Quintavallo, John Quintavallo, Nicholas Quintavallo, Eugene Quintavallo, Mary Quintavallo and Maria Carmella Horr.
      The funeral will be held Saturday at 8 a.m. from the Thomas Gattone & Son Funeral Home, 334 Broadway, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 in St. Pius Church, Eaton Street. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

      QUINTAVALLO, ANTONETTA "Etta" 92 of River Ave. passed away December 19, 2006. Born in Providence a daughter of the late Antonio and Rose (Tagliaferro ) Quintavallo. Etta was an employee of Marcello Bros. Providence for many years before retiring. She also worked as a Receptionist for the Thomas Gattone & Son Funeral Home and the "Woodlawn"Funeral Home for over 30 years. She is survived by a sister Lucille Melebeck of Louisiana , one niece and several nephews. She was the sister of the late John, Michael, Nicholas, Domenic, Eugene and Mary Quintavallo, and Carmella Horr. Funeral and Visitation Friday at 8:30a.m. in ''WOODLAWN" Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St Pius Church Providence.       Abbeville? Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 21, 2009 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Lucille Quintavallo Melebeck, 90, who died Monday, May 18, 2009 at Eastridge Nursing Center.
      She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Picard officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Rick Melebeck, Jr., David Hebert, Dale Hebert, Chuck Melebeck, Keith Melebeck and Chris Simon.
      She is survived by two sons, Richard Melebeck and wife Barbara of Lafayette and Ronald Melebeck and wife Mary of Abbeville; and grandchildren, Katy Melebeck of Lafayette, Kelly Melebeck of Houston, Claire Melebeck of Shreveport, Richard "Rick" Melebeck, Jr. of Abbeville, Christine Melebeck of Abbeville and Drew Melebeck of Abbeville.
      She was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad F. Melebeck, Jr.; parents, Antonio Quintavallo and the former Rose Tagliaferro; brothers, Dominic Quintavallo, Nicholas Quintavallo, John Quintavallo, Mike Quintavallo and Eugene Quintavallo; and sisters, Camela Horr, Mary Quintavallo and Antoinette Quintavallo.
      The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, May 21, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
