      HAZEL G. HOAR: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice
      Daily Press (Newport News, VA) - August 14, 1997
      Deceased Name: HAZEL G. HOAR
      GLOUCESTER - Hazel G. Hoar, 85, died Aug. 11, 1997, in her home. She was a native of Qunicy, Mass., and a longtime resident of East Machiasport, Maine.
      For the past six years she made her home with her daughter. She was the matriarch of the family and an avid gardener.
      She was preceded in death by her husband, James Melvin Hoar Jr.
      She is survived by two daughters, Jacquelyn Pittman of Gloucester and Helen Rice of Machiasport, Maine; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Interment will be private.
      In her memory, memorial contributions may be made to Riverside Walter Reed Hospice, Box 1130, Gloucester 23061.
