Horr, 56, of Union Springs, Alabama, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at Roosevelt Alternative Care. Born August 26, 1953, he was the son of Clarence and Norma Horr. He served four years in the U.S. Navy, was employed at New Process Gear in East Syracuse for 20 years, and loved to fish and go for walks outdoors. Surviving are two sisters, Laura Vergara and Nancy Winks, and his brother, William Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 5, 2010, at WATSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 631 S. Main St., Central Square, with burial in Hillside Cemetery, Central Square. Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Ave., Syracuse, NY 13210.
