      Her sister's obituary:
MANCHESTER - Lucienne Paradis, 102, died peacefully Jan. 17, 2012, of natural causes at Catholic Medical Center.
Her mental capacities were excellent to the very end. She was admitted to CMC in early January with various complications and her health gradually deteriorated until her passing.
She received the Catholic sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick in her last days. She had been living in the senior living community, The Meetinghouse at Riverfront in Manchester, for which she had great affection.
Lucienne was born on April 14, 1909, in St. Pascal, Quebec. She was one of 14 children of the Beaupre family of which one still survives. She came to the United States in the early 1920s and settled in Nashua before moving to Southbridge, Mass. While in Southbridge, she worked in an administrative capacity with American Optical for a number of years. In 1942, Lucienne was married to Leandre Paradis, who died in Londonderry in 1990. After Southbridge, they lived in a number of Massachusetts communities before moving to Londonderry in the 1960s.
On a personal note, Lucienne was a Roman Catholic and loved her faith. She was last listed as a member of St. Jude Community in Londonderry. She was an excellent seamstress and while her formal education may have been somewhat limited by today's standards, she was truly self-educated and developed great qualities of common sense and earthly wisdom along with an endless sense of humor. These qualities will be missed.
Lucienne is survived by one sister, Juliet Horr of Waterford, Conn., and various nieces and nephews, with Cecile Clark of Dover, Yolande Cote of Asbestos, Quebec, and Harold Beaupre of Ocala, Fla., being the most instrumental in her life..
services: Mrs. Paradis donated her body to the Dartmouth Medical School for medical teaching and research. Because of this, there is no wake or funeral service, however, there will be a private service in the future.
