  [[Obituary: Patriot Ledger Feb 21, 2000 PLYMOUTH -- Gerard T. Hoar died Thursday at Jordan Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Hoar was born and raised in Somerville, and lived there prior to moving to Plymouth. He served in the Navy during World War II. He is survived by a brother, Francis H. Hoar of Sunapee, N.H.; a sister, Alice M. Harrison of Winthrop; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be private. There are no visiting hours. Arrangements were made by the O'Maley Funeral Home in Winthrop.
