      Deceased Name: Mary E. Leopold
      Mary E. "Babe" (Hoar) Leopold, 81, of 102 Lindbergh Blvd. died Sunday in a local nursing home. She was an office worker at the former Columbia Manufacturing Co., and Third National Bank for many years. A lifelong resident, she was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. She was also a former patron of the Westfield Athenaeum. Her husband, Frederick Leopold, died in 1993. She leaves a brother, Francis J. of Bombay, N.Y.; a nephew, Thomas J. Hoar of Carson, Wash., two nieces, Ellen McElwain of Slingerlands, N.Y., and Mary Reeves of St. Louis, Mo. The funeral and calling hours are Wednesday morning at Robert E. Cusack Funeral Home, with burial at St. Michael's Cemetery in Springfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the Athenaeum, 6 Elm St., Westfield, 01085.
