      WEYMOUTH - Lorretta M. (Hoar) McDonough, 70, of South Weymouth, a homemaker, died Saturday at South Shore Hospital.
      Born, raised and educated in Boston, she lived in Braintree from 1963 until she moved to Spring Hill, Fla., in 1988. She lived there before moving to Weymouth seven years ago.
      Mrs. McDonough enjoyed traveling.
      Wife of the late John S. McDonough, she is survived by two sons, Michael S. McDonough of Quincy and Kerry M. McDonough of Brockton; five daughters, Diane M. Conley of South Weymouth, Debra J. Williams of Quincy, Maureen E. Robbins of Spring Hill, Loretta A. Tripp of Laconia, N.H., and Janice M. Prutch of Highland Ranch, Colo.; 15 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
      She was the mother of the late John G. and David J. McDonough.
      A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Francis Xavier Church, 234 Pleasant St., Weymouth. Burial will be in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
      Visiting is 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the McDonald Funeral Home, 809 Main St., South Weymouth.
