Eldora M. (A.K.A. Wavis, Hoard) Lanczak, 77, formerly of Gladwin, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1999 in Rochester Hills. Born Dec. 7, 1921 in Genesse County, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Clement Womans Auxiliary and Willing Workers of Gladwin. Surviving are her children Leota and husband Henry Aucoin, Lee D. and the late Caroline Hoard, Louann and husband Richard Klimek, Lyle and wife Ruth Hoard, and Lynn and wife Angela Hoard; siblings, Darwin and wife Peggy Major, and Erline and husband Ervin VanNorman; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lee D. Hoard Sr., February 1985; and John C. Lanczak, February 1999. Services were held Saturday, Nov. 6 at Holy Innocents Church in Roseville. Burial was in Pinegrove Cemetery, Arbella Township. Kaul Funeral Home, Roseville, was in charge of the arrangements.Eldora married (Male) Wavis. [Group Sheet]
