LITTLE FALLS, March 18, 1881.? George H. Hoard,
who was stricken with paralysis, Sunday morning, continued unconscious until 4 this morning, when death relieved him. He was in his 70tb year and was one of the oldest and most respected citizens of the place. For a number of years he was a mill wright in the Mohawk mills, but about four yearn ago his health began to fail and he retired. In 1879 he waa appointed collector of school taxes and reappointed last year. He was a zealous member of the Unirersalist church, and devoted much of his time and money to the success of the erection of 8t. Paul's. He will be buried to-morrow noon.George married Mary Ann Ladd. Mrs Mary Hoard, aged 77 relict of the late George Hoard. died at her home,
No. 206 West Main street, yesterdayafternoon. Mrs. Hoard had been a resident of Little Falls for nearly 60 years. Sbe was a consistent Christian woman, esteemed by her neighbors and endeared to her relatives. The funeral will be held from the house tomorrow at 12:30. ,.Mrs. Hoard is survived by one daughter, Mrs. G. H. Heath, one sister, Mrs. A. L. Owens, of Utica and one brother, J. B. Ladd, of Schuyler.Children:
