FRAMINGHAM - Helen Marie Hoar, 91, of Framingham, formerly of Hingham, a retired vice principal in the Boston school system, died Tuesday at Metro-West Medical Center in Framingham.
Miss Hoar worked in Boston schools for many years, eventually serving as vice principal at O'Reilly Elementary School. She retired in 1976.
She was a member of the Massachusetts Teachers Retirement Organization and the Bible study group at Resurrection Church in Hingham.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening, photography, visiting museums, doing volunteer work and vacationing in Dennis.
She was born, raised and educated in South Boston and lived in Hingham for many years ...
