He resided 1870 - 1930 at 174 (now 74) Plymouth Street, North Middleborough, Plymouth, MA.(My paternal grandparents bought this property from him) he was a Shoe Shop worker as well as a farmer. 2)Lydia Jane Holmes b. 05 Oct 1847 Middleborough, Plymouth, MA. m. 23 Dec 1869 Middleborough to Amos Dunham CLARK b. 16 Mar 1847 Middleborough. They had a son Edwin H. CLARK b. Dec 1875 Middleborough. Edwin Holmes was the son of Benjamin Holmes b. 22 Oct 1784 Bridgewater, Plymouth, MA. m. 03 Sep 1807 Bridgewater to Waitstill Benson b. 28 Apr 1787 Bridgewater d. 13 Apr 1862. Benjamin was the s/o Cornelius HOLMES b. 03 Dec 1754 B'water m. 20 Aug 1780 B'water to Elizabeth LANMAN 02 Nov 1755 B'water. They had another son Cornelius b. abt. 1782 B'waer.
