Hello, Kimball, Robert, Monk, and Dennis...
    ~
I recently heard from a couple fellow researchers that the information that I had on parents of Benjamin (Hoar) Whitney was incorrect. I have since updated my Rootsweb site to reflect the change and wanted to pass this information on each of you.
    ~
You (and I) have/had Benjamin Hoar and Anna Brooks as Benjamin (Hoar) Whitney's parents, when it seems, now, that his parents were Oliver Hoar and Silence Houghton.
    ~
Much of this new (to me) information came from Sharan Newman, historian and author: http://www.sharannewman.com/bio.html
    ~
My website: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=hoar_and_horr&id=I48746 (with the updated info on Benjamin (Hoar) Whitney)
